If ISIS is truly a threat to the United States, which I believe it is, then why did we fund them? In 2014, just before the election, our congressmen voted to fund the Syrian rebels. If I knew they were in with ISIS when the vote went through, why didn’t congress? Why did we leave enough military supplies behind in Iraq to arm 100,000 ISIS troops? It seems the United States must always have a boogie man to keep us in a perpetual war. We always seem to fund the enemy before we go to war. (al-Qaida, Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, Vietnam, Iran, the Mexican Cartels, and the list goes on.) If we are truly going to restore the Republic, we all must get involved.
